Chief Product Management Officer Full Time

As a Chief Product Management Officer at Tamatem, you will be an integral part of Tamatem’s senior leadership team, directly overseeing development, publishing and performance of Tamatem’s products. You will be entrusted with managing multiple products (games, platforms, services) from timeline, technical, financial and team capability aspects.
Your role within Tamatem’s world will include:
Product strategy
- Work with the senior leadership to set the strategic direction for the products – maintain portfolio view
- Monitor game and market status to continually question assumptions and make adjustments to products and service offerings
Product development & management
- Plan and report on product development and publishing projects
- Assess project risks, anticipate challenges, and request support from appropriate internal team when necessary
- Create and effectively communicate all tasks, priorities, and deadlines for internal resources and external development teams
- Collaborate with the internal teams to drive in-depth data analysis and research that will inform product decisions
- Oversee product performance and decide on actions to be taken, liaise with non-product Tamatem teams to achieve best possible results
Team development
- Mentor and lead the product teams – both within and outside Tamatem
- Identify, approach and interview candidates for product related positions
Process improvement
- Ideate, design, and iterate on development processes and practices within the product teams
- Create documentation to capture key challenges, solutions and learning points
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, STEM fields
- Master’s degree in business, finance or management a plus (not required)
- 7 years of hands-on product management experience in the gaming industry / entertainment industry (across value chain – not necessarily in game dev.)
- Knowledge of key mobile gaming industry platforms, technical aspects, and overall industry trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Arabic a plus but not required
