The company is the leading publisher and developer for premium HTML5 Games based in Cologne, Germany. The company is acting globally with customers through a variety of industries like websites, apps, messengers, telecom operators, trains, airlines and many more. The company is currently working with partners like Amazon, Google and Microsoft. Since its foundation in 2015, the company offers a game catalogue of over 500 games which are played millions of times per day, reaching people all over the world.
The company is the founder of Germany’s first and biggest gaming portal called Spielaffe.de. Now we want to bring it to the next level and currently develop a «TikTok of games» app currently called H5 Games.
The total number of people in the company: 50 employees.
The developer will work in the team: 6 People in the game team.
The team get together for a call: daily calls and weekly meetings.
Softwares: Slack, Skype, Jira, Whatsapp
Employment: Fulltime, permanent.
Main Responsibilities:
- You develop high-quality React Native applications as part of an
international team; - You are involved in all stages of an app’s lifecycle, from the idea to
the finished product; - You build solutions focused on «backend» and heavy logic, such as AI
algorithms; - You build pixel perfect HTML / CSS from screen designs;
- You work closely with UI designers, project managers and your fellow developers.
What we expect:
- You have experience building Apps with React Native or with
ReactJS for at least one year; - You are highly skilled with JavaScript and up to date with modern
Javascript features (ES6); - You are experienced working with Typescript as well as Firebase
(mainly Firestore), MongoDB or other NoSQL databases; - You enjoy working with our Tech Stack: JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS,
React Native, Firebase, CSS and HTML; - You are able to write well-formatted, structured, and clean code that
interacts with backend technologies; - You perform with logical & analytical skills to solve complex issues
and have the ability to rapidly learn and explain technical concepts; - You are very result oriented and think outside of the box;
- You have good verbal and written English communication skills;
- You have working experience with Agile Methodology and familiarity
with tools like Gitlab.
Bonus points:
- You are able to use Redux and/or Context API and have
knowledge about Cloud Platforms like Google Cloud or AWS; - You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps and have
worked with SQL Databases and complex queries.
